Hope you have all been enjoying the summer months. I definitely underestimated how busy it would be with my littles this summer, we have been making memories having fun and working on multiple projects bit by bit. Looking forward to showing a bit more of the house and home progress once the kids go to school xxx

What a difference ! Bye bye naked bulb and hello .. again to the beaded chandelier.. she’s been in a box for the last few years and has now reappeared. The reason originally took it down is that the kids were literally swinging for it, but with this wider table they can’t reach so thought I’d give it another go .. 🤓 what do you think?

Finally getting around to painting the garden offi

Finally getting around to painting the garden office that we 🙊 but mostly Jamie built last year. He has been working in here since it was weather proof but we had not yet decorated it. I picked up paint nearly 6/7 weeks ago? I think? today was the day I finally had the energy to go for it! He loves it 😅. We went for moody warm and cosy in here because it really is a warm and sun filled space nearly all year around when the sun is out of course 😝. I can’t wait to have warm tea and chats in here, writing music, reading , quiet time … it’s going to be much more than a work space 🤗

Friends I hope you are well! Spent the day today doing a massive clear out of the garden.. those woodland wild seeds I had planted a month or so ago, grew like crazy and looked too much like weeds so I dig them all today and have moved them to a communal wild area outside the garden 🤗🤷🏼‍♀️… have some wins and losses in the garden this year.. things that flourished last year didn’t quite do the same this year or didn’t get enough attention or care, and other things flourished beautifully.. that’s what I love about gardening it’s always a learning curve and for me with the girls it’s a chance to do something productive and fun together .. Molly told me recently when she grows up, she wants to be a garden princess like me 😭🙊.. biggest compliment for me ☺️… Happy Monday xxxx

Well friends, if you’ve been following along in stories, you know it’s taken a bit of work to get to this point in my kitchen diy makeover.. but it’s feeling so good ! Painting is 99% done, now I get to decide where to put the fun stuff . I’ve put these shelves up using brackets we already had but I’m hoping to replace them later with brass… I hope you had a good weekend. I’m hoping to share more during the week. X
